Which Suit?

Since January is coming to an end and spring break is just around the corner, I’m sure most of you are looking for swim suits. I know everyone hates buying them and hates trying them on. There’s tons of different styles to choose from and it’s so hard to figure out which ones look best on you.

That’s why I’m here. To help you find out which swim suit best suits your body type.

Curvy

Top:

If you are curvy all over then you want to focus on bustier style swim suit tops. These tops will help hold everything in place. It is more like a bra so you are able to get the full coverage and support you need.

Bottom:

If you are curvier towards the bottom you may want to keep your eye out for higher cut swim suit bottoms. These guys elongate your legs!

One Piece:

If you aren’t a fan of the two piece styled swim suits, you may want to try a v-neck styled one piece. This type of swim suit will flatter your chest!

*Tip*

If you have a fuller chest make sure you look for full cup swim suit tops! They will give you excellent support.

Tummy

Top:

Even if you have a little bit of a tummy you can still rock a swim suit. Finding the right swim suit is key. A suit with side cutouts is a great distraction. If you just had a baby and are still trying to lose those last couple pounds, get this swim suit it will draw the attention to your hips and not your stomach. If you aren’t a fan of the side cut outs then you should try a suit with ruching on the side.

Bottom:

If the belly is your main concern then you should try the hipster swim suit bottoms. These bottoms will give the impression that your legs are longer and draw away from the stomach.

One Piece:

A retro styled one piece is a great alternative to a two piece swim suit. This type of swim suit will give you that waist.

Picking a swim suit with stripes will help you look slimmer!

Top:

Padding is key here. If you want your chest to look fuller you need to get a swim suit top that has padding. Don’t over do it though, too much padding can also look unnatural. To go along with the padding you should also try a top with underwire.

One Piece: 

A vintage style swim suit will help create the Betty Boop look that you desire.

*Tip*

Wearing prints and patterns add curves and give you a fuller look!

Plus-Sized

Top:

Fitted fabric is a great way to show off your curves. A deep V neckline is a great design for your swim suit top. Solid colors are what you should set your mind on. If you are feeling adventurous you could also try a swim suit with ruffles!

Bottom:

A high-waisted bottom is the perfect style for your bottom half.

One Piece:

For the one piece, a face-framing neckline will help show off your upper half without revealing too much.

Top:

An embellished top or even bottom, will give you more curves. If you have a short torso try a zigzag pattern to help lengthen it.

One Piece:

If you need help creating that silhouette that you are dreaming of, try a ruched swim suit.
